Good reasons to write

A grid that doesn’t exist yet. Polar with uneven rings? A two-decade log with labelled subdivisions? Dot-paper variants (isometric dots, triangle dots)? If a grid type or option would make the tool more useful, name it — the roadmap is driven by what people actually ask for.

Scale problems (we want these reports). If your printout doesn’t match a ruler at “Actual size”, tell us: the browser and version, the paper size you selected, the paper in the tray, and the measured size of one grid cell. Print-scale bugs are the kind of defect this site exists to eliminate, and real-world reports across printers are how it gets there.

Corrections. Wrong spacing math, a mislabeled preset, a hexagon that isn’t quite regular — specifics help. Include the options you had set and what you expected.

Everything else. Broken rendering, accessibility issues, mobile layout problems, partnership or licensing questions. For tool issues, the status line under the controls (paper, spacing, cell counts) is the fastest way to tell us exactly what the page was doing.

Response

A small team reads every message — no ticketing system, no auto-replies. Bug reports and corrections usually get an answer within a few days; general feedback can take longer when the queue is full.
